Family planning / reproductive health
|
Family planning/reproductive health is the treatment of, and health provision to, patients in relation to contraception, reproductive health and associated primary sexual health issues. Vocational training in New Zealand is administered by the Family Planning Association of New Zealand (FPANZ).
We do not currently have a checklist of what qualifications, training and experience is expected of applicants for this vocational scope of practice, but information on family planning/reproductive health training in New Zealand can be found on the FPANZ website at http://www.fpanz.org.nz/.
If you believe that your qualifications, training and experience in family planning/reproductive health are likely to be equivalent to or as satisfactory as New Zealand training, please click here for the application form and for more information on the application process.
To see if you meet the requirements for another pathway to registration, return to the registration self assessment checklist and complete the checklist answering no to the question “are you a qualified specialist or do you have a postgraduate qualification“.If you have been able to answer yes to the above questions, please click here for the application form and for more information on the application process. | |
