Eligibility
to apply

Candidates must:

• Hold an acceptable primary medical qualification
• Directly meet Council's Policy on English language requirements
• Within the last 5 years have passed USMLE Steps 1 and 2 (Clinical Knowledge) or have passed the Australian Medical Council MCQ examination or have passed the PLAB Part 1.

• Not already hold registration in a Special Purpose (postgraduate training) scope of practice.

Submitting
application

• You must apply in writing on the official application forms.
• Your application must be accompanied by payment in full and must be received at the Council office by the closing date. Applications received after the closing date will not be accepted.
• Applications sent by email or fax will not be accepted.
