You can search the Medical Council's register to find out whether a doctor is currently registered and is able to practise in New Zealand, as well as other public information.
Try searching without a location if you're having issues finding your doctor. Not all doctors have their location within New Zealand published.
Similarly, try searching without an area of medicine if your doctor does not appear in the results as not all doctors will have a registered specialty.
You don't need to include the title "Dr" in your search.
