Dr Akani is permitted to practise medicine in psychiatry at Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital and Napier Health Centre under the supervision of Dr Brian Young between 1 March 2026 and 28 February 2027. The purpose of this registration is to enable Dr Akani to complete Council's assessment requirements for registration within the vocational scope of psychiatry.
