Dr Anantharachagan is permitted to practise medicine in the position of specialist in immunopathology (Pathology) at Auckland City Hospital under the supervision of Dr Arihia Brewerton between 18 September 2026 and 31 May 2027.

Dr Anantharachagan is permitted to practise medicine in the position of specialist in clinical immunology (Internal Medicine) at Auckland City Hospital and at Greenlane Clinical Centre under the supervision of Dr Karen Lindsay between 18 September 2026 and 31 May 2027.

The purpose of this registration is to enable Dr Anantharachagan to complete Council's assessment requirements for registration within the vocational scope of Pathology and Internal Medicine.

Under section 21 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003: Effective 15 June 2026: Dr Anantharachagan's provisional vocational scope of internal medicine is limited to clinical immunology.

Under section 21 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003: Effective 11 September 2026: Dr Anantharachagan's scope of practice in pathology is limited to immunopathology.
