Dr Chandler is required to participate in an approved recertification programme relevant to the vocational scope of General Practice. Dr Chandler may work outside the stated vocational scope but must do so within a collegial relationship.

Conditions on scope of practice under Section 101(1)(c) of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 effective from 05 February 2026:
1. For a period of three years, Dr Chandler is prohibited from any employment or engagement as a sole charge medical practitioner (i.e. operating a practice with herself as the only registered medical practitioner) except as approved by the Council.
2. For a period of three years, Dr Chandler will be required to advise any person or body who employs (including contracts) her as a medical practitioner of the Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal's decision.
3. Within the period of 18 months (or such extended period as the Council may allow, having regard to the availability of resources to meet this condition), Dr Chandler will be required, at her own expense, to undertake and successfully complete a supervised educational programme approved by the Council that addresses:
a. Critical appraisal skills so that research can be analysed appropriately. Application of this skill will then enable the ability to provide balanced and considered information in a manner that is appropriate for the context of the discussion.
b. Her obligations under the Medicines Act 1981.
c. Professional interactions and communications with colleagues.
d. Adherence to the Council's statements on Unprofessional behaviour, Good prescribing practice, Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM), and Managing patient records.
4. For a period of 18 months, Dr Chandler's practice is to be subject to a regular audit (no more frequently than once per fortnight) by the educational supervisor of her practice including where treatment or prevention of COVID-19 and/or the COVID-19 vaccine was discussed to ensure that Dr Chandler's practice aligns with current, best-practice guidelines.
5. For a period of three years, Dr Chandler will be required to:
a. obtain approval from a Council-approved medical practitioner before prescribing, importing, or authorising for release unapproved medicines and record the Council-approved medical practitioner's approval in the respective patient's clinical records;
b. obtain approval from a Council-approved medical practitioner before importing or authorising for release medicines for unapproved use; and record the Council-approved medical practitioner's approval in the respective patient's clinical records; and
c. keep a log of all unapproved medicines that she has prescribed, imported, or authorised for release, which is to be made available to Council for inspection at any time.
