Dr Eckhardt is permitted to practise medicine in the position of specialist in Pathology at Dunedin Hospital, Waikato Hospital, Rotorua Hospital and Wellington Regional Hospital under the primary supervision of Dr Judy Melinek and secondary supervision of Dr Mark Tullett between 03 August 2026 and 30 November 2026.
The purpose of this registration is to enable Dr Eckhardt to confirm competence for registration within the vocational scope of Pathology. -
Conditions
Under section 21 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003: Effective 3 August 2026: Dr Eckhardt's scope of practice is limited to forensic pathology.
