Notes
Dr Enright is required to participate in an approved recertification programme relevant to the vocational scope of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr Enright may work outside the stated vocational scope but must do so within a collegial relationship.

Conditions
Conditions on scope of practice under Section 38(1)(b) of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 effective from 20 May 2026:
1. Dr Enright must undertake 4-monthly reviews with a Te Kaunihera Rata o Aotearoa | Medical Council of New Zealand (Council) approved vocationally registered doctor (the supervisor), who will provide reports to Council (including identifying any concerns) and must inform the Council immediately if there are significant concerns.
2. Dr Enright's scope of practice is limited to non-operative orthopaedic practice only.
3. Dr Enright must disclose to any employer or contracting organisation that his practice is subject to Council-imposed conditions and that he is required by Council to undertake a competence programme.Under section 21 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003: Effective 10 July 2017:
Dr Enright's general scope of practice is limited to orthopaedic surgery in any medical setting or to other areas of medicine in hospital-based practice only and, effective 23 April 2024, excludes operative hip and/or knee arthroplasty. -
