For the first time, doctors registered in the general scope who are not enrolled in accredited medical training will be invited to take part, alongside doctors in accredited prevocational and vocational training programmes. Conditions on scope of practice under Section 21 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 effective from 12 June 2026:
a. Dr Konings must work in Council-approved employment under the approved supervision of a vocationally registered supervisor.
b. Dr Konings will not contact current or former patients outside of a clinical context.
