Dr May is required to participate in an approved recertification programme relevant to the vocational scope of Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology.

Conditions on scope of practice under Section 21 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 effective from 23 July 2013: Dr May's general scope of practice is limited to diagnostic and interventional radiology in any medical setting or to other areas of medicine in hospital-based practice only.
