Dr Mokhtari is permitted to practise medicine in the position of Specialist in Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology at Tauranga Hospital under the supervision of Dr Simon Ussher between 30 April 2026 and 30 November 2026.
The purpose of this registration is to enable Dr Mokhtari to confirm competence for registration within the vocational scope of Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology.

Under section 21 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003: Effective 30 April 2026: Dr Mokhtari's scope of practice includes obstetric imaging and first trimester ultrasound under approved supervision.
