Dr Targett is required to participate in an approved recertification programme relevant to the vocational scope of Sport and Exercise Medicine. Dr Targett may work outside the stated vocational scope but must do so within a collegial relationship.

Under section 29(2) of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003: Effective 02 February 2026:
1.Dr Targett must work under approved supervision.
2.Dr Targett may only work in a position approved by Council's Registrar.
