For the first time, doctors registered in the general scope who are not enrolled in accredited medical training will be invited to take part, alongside doctors in accredited prevocational and vocational training programmes. Dr van Haaften is permitted to practise medicine in General Practice at The Doctors Bureta, The Doctors Tauranga, The Doctors Welcome Bay and Accident and Health Care Tauranga under the supervision of Dr Bhuwan Poudel and Dr David O'Connor between 01 June 2026 and 31 May 2027.
The purpose of this registration is to enable Dr van Haaften to complete Council's requirements for registration within the general scope.
