Dr Ganthala is permitted to practise medicine in Internal Medicine at Taranaki Base Hospital under the supervision of Dr Ian Ternouth between 01 September 2026 and 03 August 2027; under the supervision of Dr Karalyn Hicks between 01 September 2026 and 03 August 2027.
The purpose of this registration is to enable Dr Ganthala to complete Council's assessment requirements for registration within the vocational scope of Internal Medicine.

Under section 21 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003: Effective 03 August 2026:
Dr Ganthala's scope of practice is limited to cardiology.
