Dr Jacobson is permitted to practise medicine in the position of Specialist in Pathology at Awanui Labs - Nelson under the supervision of Dr Michael Myskow between 02 March 2026 and 30 November 2026. The purpose of this registration is to enable Dr Jacobson to confirm competence for registration within the vocational scope of Pathology.

Under section 21 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003: Effective 2 March 2026: Dr Jacobson's scope of practice is limited to anatomical pathology (including autopsies).
