Dr Newman is permitted to practise medicine in the position of Specialist in Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology at Astra Radiology sites at Allevia Hospital Ascot, Ascot Central and AUT Millennium and at Auckland City Hospital under the supervision of Dr David Milne between 05 October 2026 and 31 May 2027.
The purpose of this registration is to enable Dr Newman to confirm competence for registration within the vocational scope of Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology.

Under section 21 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003: Effective 5 October 2026: Dr Newman's scope of practice excludes obstetric imaging.
