Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse in State Care

In 2018 a Royal Commission of Inquiry was established into Abuse in State Care (the Royal Commission). Information about the Royal Commission can be found here  .  


The Medical Council has assisted the Royal Commission by providing information and giving evidence in June 2021. Our evidence was about how the Medical Council responded to concerns about Dr Selwyn Leeks while he was working at Lake Alice hospital in the 1970s.
