Recruitment
To work as a doctor in New Zealand, you must be registered with the Medical Council however; you will first need to find employment. We will not register a doctor unless they have a job offer from a New Zealand health service provider.
You can find employment by contacting:
- any of the 20 District health boards in New Zealand who will often advertise vacancies directly on their websites.
- a branch advisory body or college
- one of the medical recruitment agencies
- searching the Kiwi Health Jobs website which provides a one-stop-shop if you are looking for a job in New Zealand's public health sector.
