Are you a vocationally registered doctor, with a passion for protecting public safety and promoting good medical practice?
The Kaitohutohu Ngaio - Rata | Medical Adviser provides input into policy and research projects for the Council, advises on competence reviews and programmes, and assists with health, education, and registration processes.
Applicants should be vocationally registered doctors with knowledge of the maintenance of professional standards and experience in assessment / research methods. A keen interest in medical education would be an advantage.
Full-time or part-time hours available with a minimum of three days per week (24 hours) per week (ie 0.6 FTE) based in our Wellington office. Flexible working arrangements can be negotiated to allow the successful applicant to meet other professional commitments.
